Resistance and Exile: The first German republic lasted
only 14 years - until the seizure of power by the Nazi
regime. Among those who joined the political resistance
were also women - for example JOHANNA KIRCHNER. Because
of her fight for right, freedom and humanity she was sentenced
to death and executed.
