A location can be selected in two ways:
| (1) | select the name of the corresponding picture from the list in the item-selection devices located immediately above the map |
| (2) | select a dot directly on the map using the mouse |
The arrow pinpointing a selected location points in the direction I was facing at that location when I drew the picture. If you want to see the picture itself, press the "Picture" button beside the item-selection device. The pictures are also available with captions here. The Java source code for this applet is contained in CharlesPictureLocator.java, ColorUtility.java and StringUtility.java.
