Charles River Oil Pastel Locations

I put this together to assist people in pinpointing the locations where I drew various oil pastels along the Charles River where it separates Boston and Cambridge, Massachusetts. The locations are marked with yellow dots on the map below.

A location can be selected in two ways:

(1) select the name of the corresponding picture from the list in the item-selection devices located immediately above the map
(2) select a dot directly on the map using the mouse

The arrow pinpointing a selected location points in the direction I was facing at that location when I drew the picture. If you want to see the picture itself, press the "Picture" button beside the item-selection device. The pictures are also available with captions here. The Java source code for this applet is contained in CharlesPictureLocator.java, ColorUtility.java and StringUtility.java.
