Piccolino Club

A restaurant owner on a street off the one the gas station is on asked me if I would do his establishment when he found me doing the Citgo Gas Station drawing. I said I would. In exchange, he was going to put the result on his menus and put up some of my work in one of his dining rooms.

This drawing contributed to my Shirley-architecture sub-theme. The sign on the bracket and the satellite dish are rather distinctive as Shirley architecture goes. There had been a wind storm the day before and the sign on the bracket had fallen off. He showed it to me inside and I drew it into the picture.

During the course of this picture, I got a visit from "Boston Bonnie", a tatoo and professional artist from Fitchburg. She was visiting a friend nearby. I had read about her in the newspaper some months earlier. I should have gotten her autograph, not on my skin though.
