Spiderwort

Here's a drawing of a spiderwort which was growing out under the steps. I got it as a free gift from Gurney's Seed & Nursery. It has done very well. It managed to transplant itself to the backyard in its first year (birds?), and I've begun transplanting it elsewhere. It has an oriental look I like, or at least the drawing does. I didn't realize how its stamens unfurled during the day before I did this drawing.

This is actually a chalk creation, but I thought I'd throw it in anyway.
