Shirley Train Depot

This is where the train stops in Shirley. My fingers froze up before I could provide a lot of context, but you can see a part of a house on Front Street through the depot's window. This wasn't here when I first arrived. Back then I think there was something like the arrangement you see for the bus stop in the Lasall Gymnasium picture. The old train depot (in service 1895-1959) was located further west on Front Street where the Citgo Gas Station is now. This building is supposed to resemble it somewhat. It was built by students at the North Bennet Street School, 39 N. Bennet St., Boston, Mass.
