Charles River

Here's a view of the Charles River from the BU Bridge looking toward the Harvard Bridge which crosses over from Boston to M.I.T. See the Boston Skyline drawing for the other half of the Harvard Bridge and further information on it.

At this location, I had the company of another artist working with oils at another part of the bridge. He had gotten there first and scouted out a nice location sheltered from the wind which made things difficult this day. Perhaps I even came back and continued this on another day I was so blown away that first day.

I often saw people taking pictures from here, though usually focussed more to the right from where this drawing is focussed. That brought the beauty of the view to my attention.
