Burned-Out Hut off Leominster Road, Shirley, Mass.
This is small abandoned snack shack off of Leominster Road a little further on from Leatherboard Pond which you saw earlier. It was run by the Parmenters, George and Chesley, from the 1930's and must have serviced clients from the pond.
It got burned down at some point while I've been living here. It's been a burned-out hulk for several years. A lot of heavy trucks go by here which made drawing difficult at times, although one truck driver certainly moved my task along when he waved as he went by.
A woman who lived down the street stopped by on her way to recycle some cans and checked out my drawing.
